Significance

Trayodashi is the 13th lunar day, primarily known as Pradosh day for Lord Shiva worship. The evening twilight on Trayodashi is considered extremely sacred for Shiva prayers. Dhanteras (Dhana Trayodashi) before Diwali is one of the most important Trayodashis when new purchases and Lakshmi-Kubera worship are performed.
