About Pradosh Vrat
Pradosh Vrat (Pradosham) is observed on the Trayodashi tithi (13th lunar day) of both Shukla and Krishna Paksha. It falls twice a month and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The twilight period on Pradosh day is considered highly auspicious for Shiva worship. Devotees observe fast and perform Shiva Puja during the Pradosh Kaal (1.5 hours before and after sunset).
